| This course is an introduction to
the application of the principles of theatre sound. Training will be
placed on the use and maintenance of theatre sound equipment, recording
and editing sound effects, and training in electronic sound
reinforcement. The course requires work outside the classroom applying
the principles learned in the practical application of theatre sound for
production. Four contact hours: three lecture hours, and one practical
work hour on productions (a minimum of 15 hours for the term). A.A.,
A.S., A.A.S. This class is blended class which includes a BlackBoard online component and a once a week lab. Do not miss a lab day. Reading assignments, projects and tests are administered online in BlackBoard. |
