List of common problems with WebCt and Online Courses

1.    If you cannot get into the chat section in WebCt .

You need to download and install the Java  jre files.

This should fix your problem.

 Go  to this website:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

 Scroll down till you find:

Click on the JRE  - Download (see below)

Let me know if you have any further problems. 

You can calculate your grade by adding all the assignments points value together.

This becomes TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE.

You add the points you earned for each assignment together.

This becomes TOTAL POINTS EARNED.

You divide TOTAL POINTS EARNED / TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE

This will give you a percent/fraction that is your grade.

Example:

 TOTAL POINTS EARNED / TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE = Grade

         93                      /       100                            =  .93 or 93 % an A grade.
