Wiley Plus is an online learning resource. With the access code, you have access to the entire text online, for interactive dialogs (guided problem solving), to a study guide for the course and to the solutions manuals for selected problems. This is where you will submit your homework assignments. Watch the video on the Wiley site for more information.
They are posted in WileyPlus for your course section. The course website is found in bb. You will need the course access code to get into the site. The questions are algorithmic, so other students are not likely to have the same problems as you. You may work the problems until you get them correct up until midnight the night before the exam over the topic.
1. I will post homework discussion questions for each exam cycle relating to course materials.
You are responsible for the correct answers to ALL of the discussion questions, thus, it is to your benefit to research the topics yourself. If you disagree, you may so state, but do so respectfully, as in:
Arnold: Carmine- I think you made an error. You left out the last conversion between inches and ft.
The discussion board is not for personal problems or complaints. They will be dealt with individually via eMail.
I check my e-Mail every day M-F, and One time a day during the weekends. If I check more frequently, I will answer your message. Phone calls will be returned within 2 business days.
there is a link for each lab assignment. This allows you to post your lab reports, or if you did not submit your lab calcs in person, you may attach them here. Please don't email them. The digital dropbox allows me to download all assignments at one time, and they are labeled with your name.
These chats use a whiteboard in which we can all see the same screen, write on it, and share information. It is the equivalent of a mini-lecture or problem solving session. I also use the Breeze to hold "virtual office hours". If you need assistance at a time other than those of the chats, then contact me to set up a mutually agreeable meeting time to answer these. If you have a microphone and headphones on your computer, we can record the entire discussion.
The link, while it is active, is found under the CourseWork page in the quizzes folder. If your first attempt is before the exam over the chapter, your score is counted fully. If the first attmpt occurs after the exam date, your quiz grade will be reduced by 1/2.
