This course is taught to provide the student with a comprehensive basic understanding of the helpdesk environment; to gain the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to function in the user support industry. Students will learn basic problem-solving and communication skills that are valuable when providing user support services. Through the hands-on projects, and case study projects, the students will learn how to apply this knowledge and develop their ideas and skills. They will also learn how to work individually and share views in a Discussion Board forum to help prepare them for the team-oriented work environment
