Marian Beaman
Professor of Communications
Professor Marian Beaman received her M.Ed. degree from the University of North Florida. She has taught English Composition and Literature courses at FCCJ since 1987 and enjoys using cooperative learning techniques and other innovative teaching/learning strategies in her traditional and online courses.
She has a peripatetic artist husband and two children, both FCCJ graduates, one resides in Chicago and the other in Jacksonville with her grandchildren. Reading, gardening, travel, and yoga classes occupy her spare time.
