Experience
The Experience,
FCCJ's
student literary magazine, welcomes submissions year round. Each publication
comes out in mid-June. You may pick up a copy at the
Student
Life and Leadership Development Office on your campus.
Deadlines:
- The final deadline for submission for 2008
is March 20. All work received after that date will be considered for the
following spring's publication.
- Selections will be made within the month
of April and all writers will be notified of their work's status by the
end of April.
Submission Guidelines:
Digital submissions:
- Copy and paste the
submission form
into a
Word document.
- Place your writing in the document
after the completed submission information.
- Save the document with your name and
title of the piece.
- Send the completed document as an
email attachment to
theexperience@fccj.edu.
- Multiple submissions may be sent in
the same email message, but each piece should be saved as a separate
document with completed submission information.
- Writers will receive email
acknowledgement of their submission within two weeks.

Editorial Board:
A student editorial board selects which pieces
will be published and develops the final appearance of the publication. Students
who wish to serve on the Editorial Board should contact Professor Jana Kinder at
jkinder@fccj.edu or (904) 381-3508.
Artwork:
Photography and artwork are
chosen from the Collegewide Photography Competition and the Student Art Annual.
