Personal: Born in Jacksonville, married, four children. I spent three years in the Army (101st Airborne Division), then attended Florida State University. I graduated in 1968, and have since been employed as Professor of Economics at Florida Community College at Jacksonville. I also serve as adjunct professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
My wife Deborah and I enjoy adventure-type travel, and seek out remote places like the Canadian Arctic, Alaska, the Queen Charlotte Islands, and the Ecuadorian and Costa Rican rainforests for our holidays.
