As an educator and administrator with over 15 years of experience in higher education, I was invited to join the FCCJ team in March 2003 as the first Director of Learning Services for South Campus.  In this new role, I am responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction for the campus Library and Learning Center and associated services.

In addition to establishing and leading new collegiate academic support programs at both public and private two-year and four-year institutions of diverse missions and enrollments,
I have worked with Federal TRIO programs and college counseling centers, coordinated services for students with disabilities,
taught personal development and new student orientation courses as well as contract training and leadership development courses,
and organized special projects for Presidents and Vice Presidents
on several campuses.  I am also an experienced writer and editor with a specific interest in the use of technology as a communication tool.

I hold an Educational Specialist degree
in Leadership Studies from the
Marshall University Graduate College,
and am currently completing my doctorate in
Educational Leadership Studies with a specialization in Higher Education Administration at West Virginia University.
I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees
from Marshall University.

My vita is available for those interested
in learning more about my experience and educational endeavors.
