Remove Discussion Board Threads
In the transition from Blackboard 6.3 to Blackboard 7.1, the discussion board threads (postings) are carried forward into 7.1. In order to removed these threads and retain the discussion board topics you will need to delete the old threads.
In most instances your course shell will be cleaned up for you when it is imported into Blackboard 7.1. If it is not, this Captivate video demonstrates how to perform this maintenance task yourself.
