Employers provide working opportunities for many reasons--they know the importance and value of real life experience, they appreciate the skills the students bring to their organization, they realize the importance of internships for out-of-the-classroom experiences. Internship supervisors realize that some mentoring will be necessary. However, these supervisors must maintain their company's reputation for professional quality service and quality products.
